HISTORY IS MADE!

    As far as we can tell, the Texas Girl’s Basketball Region IV 4A Playoffs and Championship Games at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas were one of the first, if not the first ever to be televised nationally. Viewers from  all over Texas as well as Massachusetts, Kentucky and Oregon tuned in to watch the broadcast. Organizations involved in this feat were:

• The Beeville A.C. Jones/HSSBN® Sports Broadcast Team (Kevin Blanton, Ryan Keller and the "Voice of HSSBN®", Michael Silvas II)

• The Beeville Lady Trojans Girl’s Basketball Team and Coach Greg Gonzales and Staff

• The Marble Falls Lady Mustangs and Coach Eric Boettcher and Staff

• The Pflugerville Connally Cougars and Coach Angie Hermesmeyer and Staff

More and more schools are starting the process of setting up their own "Sports Broadcast Team".
